Murchison Falls National Park 4 Days

Murchison Falls
Experience Uganda’s wilderness at its very best on a safari to Murchison Falls National Park. This gem was once Africa’s most popular park in the 1960s but suffered heavily during turbulent years of 1970. However like Uganda, Murchison Falls has exhibited resilience over the past decades to once again become one of the leading safari destinations in East Africa.

Set in the western part of Uganda, the park is formed of two contrasting vegetation types, with a lush green tropical forest on the southern end of the river Nile and seas of endless savannah on the northern side. The park is home to lions, elephants, antelope, baboons, buffaloes, chimpanzees, and water bucks, over 200 bird species and various aquatic mammals like the Nile crocodiles, hippos, residing in the banks of the river Nile. Enjoy morning game drives, chimpanzee treks through the forests, nature walks to the top of the falls and a boat ride down the Nile to the dramatic roaring falls.
